Houserules

To make your stay as pleasant as possible and to avoid misunderstandings you will find below our house rules/information.

* Use the air conditioning wisely. Assume about 6-8 degrees difference with the outside temperature. We assume that between 24-26 degrees is pleasant to sleep.

* Each apartment and studio has a laundry basket. Vacation guests can deposit the used towels in it and place the laundry basket outside, after which new towels will be provided. Please think about the environment. If you wish to use our washing machine, the cost is Naf 15 per time.

* The remote control for the gate: Press A for opening and closing. Before you drive away, wait until the gate is completely closed

We are not liable for: Inconveniences caused by the work of third parties such as municipality, province and government agencies. This includes nuisance caused by construction and/or renovation activities in the vicinity of the rented property. Injury to the tenant caused by staying in the rented property. Loss, theft and damage of personal belongings or vehicles belonging to the tenant. Interruption of utilities. (water and electricity).

Cleaning and final cleaning. The property should be found clean and tidy. If this is not the case, please notify us immediately. The final cleaning is provided by us. However, despite this cleaning, the tenant must ensure that: - There is tidied up, i.e. put back all household goods in their original state. - The kitchen (incl oven) is left clean and empty. - All dishes, cutlery etc. are washed and dried and stored in their original place. - The waste (bathroom/kitchen) is removed.

Smoking In the apartments/studio's it is not allowed to smoke in any form. Failure to comply with this condition will result in a €250 charge. Smoking outside is allowed provided it does not disturb your fellow tenants. After smoking, please use the ashtrays provided and not the ground.

Arrival and departure You can move into the apartment/studio from 10.00 am. In case of an unexpected earlier arrival, please call us. On the day of departure you should leave the apartment/ studio no later than 11.00 hours. It is possible, for an additional charge of € 50.00, to reserve the apartment until departure to Hato. Later arrival or earlier departure does not entitle the tenant to a refund of the rent or any part thereof. You will receive a house key and a remote control for the electric gate. Loss of key(s) will be charged. Key € 25,00 Remote Control € 50,00 Tenant shall never attach hangers or other recognizable items to the keys that could lead to the address of the rented accommodation.

Use and liability It is not allowed to use bedding and furniture, other than garden furniture outside. Garbage bags can be deposited in the large trash bins on the side by the gate. You are responsible for the proper use of the apartment. It is not allowed to use open fire/candle light inside. You are requested to park the car behind the gate. Breakage or loss of goods or damage to inventory or house must be compensated by you. Calamities and damages must be reported immediately by the tenant to the landlord. Although the apartment and inventory are maintained with great care, irregularities may occur. Although the landlord is not liable for defects in and functioning of technical installations and equipment, he will ensure that repairs or replacement are carried out as soon as possible. Repair or replacement does not entitle the tenant to a refund of the rent or any part thereof.

Pool Rules:

- Use of the pool is at your own risk and for tenants only

- Do not cause nuisance to fellow residents;

- It is forbidden to consume in (or on the edge of) the pool;

- It is forbidden to use the pool other than with swimwear;

- It is forbidden to smoke in the pool;

- Glass and electrical appliances in and around the pool are prohibited;

- Leave the pool clean and tidy after use;

Every tenant must live safely and quietly in/around the accommodation. Inappropriate, antisocial or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate eviction. In case of such an offence with damage to the rented property, the surroundings or to a person, the lessor may choose to report this to the police. Camera images may be used as evidence. The following "violations" of the agreement or house rules will result in immediate eviction from the accommodation with retention of payment of rent until the end of the agreement:

- Showing irresponsible behavior (open fire, setting off fireworks) which causes immediate danger to fellow tenants, staff or third parties present around the accommodation;

- inflicting physical injury to fellow tenants, employees and/or third parties;

- Upon discovery of the use of soft and/or hard drugs or dealing them in/around the complex, accommodation and in the units;

- Public drunkenness with such a nuisance that safety is compromised;

- Entering roofs or walls of the accommodation;

In general...be gentle, it's a rental!
